A three piece sterling silver coffee set by Tiffany & Company with an unusual chased detailed surface and a reticulated band joining the spout to the body.

The Inscription:

On the base of the coffee pot is an inscription Thaw 1902 with a conjoined monogram

The monogram is that of Mary Copley Thaw and the coffee set was probably an engagement gift to her son Josiah Copley Thaw upon his wedding to Mary Harrington Thomson in 1903
